Tee Ball FAQs
What is the emphasis of the Tee Ball League?
FUN, FUN, and more FUN! This is the beginning stage of playing baseball/softball for your little one(s). At this age the most important thing is for them to have a fun & safe experience. Our goal is to bring kids and parents together for a fun time while also learning some very basic baseball/softball fundamentals.
What should my child wear to Tee Ball?
For practice your child can wear any comfortable clothing. For games we would like your child to wear their uniform. The league will provide a uniform shirt and hat. The coach will communicate which color of baseball pants, socks, belt they would like you to purchase. All batters, base runners and players on deck, MUST wear helmets for safety.
What equipment does my child need for Tee Ball?
The league supplies each team with a helmet, bat and balls to share. Many parents choose to provide the child with their own tee ball bat and helmet (preferably with a face guard attached). Players also must have a glove, cleats (recommended to prevent slipping on wet grass or mud) and water bottle. Your child will bring their equipment to every practice and game.
Can I make a friend/buddy or team request?
It is our goal to accommodate friend/team placement request as much as logistically possible. You can facilitate this request when going through the registration process.
I’m a parent interested in being a Manager/Coach of my child’s team. How do I volunteer?
During registration and the volunteer section please make sure to add yourself as an Assistant Coach/Head Coach so the proper background check can be initiated. If you decided to volunteer after registering, please email [email protected] to volunteer. Please note: All Parent Volunteers are required to submit a background check for Little League International ( LLI ). Team Managers & Coaches are required to attend the pre-season Coaches Meeting.
